SEN Teaching Assistant | January Start

We are recruiting for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support an outstanding primary school in the Aston, B6 area. The role would be full time, working 8:30am – 3:45pm, Monday to Friday during term time. The role will be supporting across KS1 and KS2 with SEN. The role will be split across supporting students 1:1 and working as part of the schools nurture, SEN group.

• £325 – £355 per week after deductions

The roles will involve working with children on a 1:1 and intervention group basis. You will be required to have experience working in a similar setting. The children will have a range of needs that create challenges for them to successfully access the curriculum.

The successful teaching assistants will be required to work in a range of year groups. These roles would be ideal for anyone looking to extend their skills in working with children ahead of teacher training.

Teaching assistants at school provide a range of classroom support which can include teaching groups of children under the direction of a teacher. The roles will involve supporting groups and individuals with special educational needs and implementing ‘next step plans’. TAs supervise classes for EYFS, KS1 & KS2. TAs may also be required to assist with lunchtime supervision.
