The Role

Consulting level technical analyst responsible for advanced system support functions for the Financial Intelligence Organization. Frequently contributes to the development of new processes and methods. This position serves as the technical liaison for business clients, developing solutions to complex problems, leading system project implementations for the business and performing ongoing system production functions.

The Main Responsibilities

• Develops plans and manages implementation of activities for highly complex projects/programs for Global Sales Reporting function

• Create ad hoc queries to complete various Financial/Commercial analysis of multiple data sources to assist in the appropriate representation of sales

• Utilizes multiple systems to bring data together and provided analysis on operational activities

• Serves as the project lead for system project implementations including business functional/ technical requirements, testing, training, change management process development and system documentation

• Performs Systems Administration support functions for Business Applications including table maintenance and business rule development requiring intricate analysis for completion

• Designs, develops, and implements complex reporting and end user solutions for clients utilizing a variety of tools sets

• Performs system operational functions including collaboration with IT organization to ensure appropriate system performance such as database performance tuning/controls

• Conducts system production operations either directly on in conjunction with IT for monthly production processing, error correction, output analysis and leads resolution of production fixes as required with IT

• Review and revise processes as financial and business conditions change with a focus on sales organization and company-wide initiatives

• Step in for management when called upon to help lead meetings

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

• Minimum 6 years related experience

• Strong financial and analytical skills

• Ability to use advanced Excel functions

• Ability to structure and convey ideas and information, both verbally and in written presentation form, in a concise, effective, and persuasive manner to bring clear understanding to the target audience

• Ability to examine data from multiple sources to determine whether correlation and linkage exist between data sets

• Ability to organize and manage work in an efficient and effective manner to ensure task, milestones and goals are met according to defined timelines

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a team environment
