A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Dental Receptionist to join our friendly and experienced team. Melbourne Dental Specialists is a modern 5 chair Specialist Dental Practice, located at the Paris end of Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD.

About the Practice

Here at Melbourne Dental Specialists, we focus on providing our patients with advice and treatment that allows them to maintain functional, healthy and great looking teeth long-term. Whether you’re looking to better your periodontal health, replace missing teeth with dental implants, or require paediatric dentistry, our team of specialists are here to look after you.

A snapshot of what you’ll be doing

• Previous experience in dental with management responsibility desirable;

• Be the first point of contact for our patients and ensure they always have an exceptional experience;

• Play a pro-active role in each day’s appointment schedule and patient activities to ensure things run as seamless as possible;

• Patient management; greeting and checking in patients, answering all phone enquiries, booking & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts;

• Participate in the planning + treatment presentation and follow-up for patient care;

• Record relevant patient information in electronic patient records;

What we are looking for in YOU!

• A passion for the dental industry and exceptional patient care;
• 
  Prior experience working in Dental Reception and/or Dental Assisting essential;
• Prior experience using Ultimo software desirable
• Lots of empathy and a patient-centric approach;
• A positive attitude and the ability to show initiative;
• An ability to handle pressure and multi-task; And
• A warm & friendly personality with the ability to build relationships easily;
