The Role

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team as a Dental Assistant in Bethlehem Dental.

Here at Bethlehem Dentist, we are a close-knit team who works together to provide a high standard of patient care. We pride ourselves on our friendly and relaxing environment and are dedicated to providing healthy aesthetic smiles to the wider community.

What does a Dental Assistant Do? A Dental Assistant is a critical part of our team! You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians with various interesting dental procedures during patient appointments. You will also take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and also stock control. Working beside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best.

The Hours for the role are:

• Tuesday – Friday 8am – 5pm
• No Weekend work – WOOHOO!

The Location

Lumino Bethlehem is located on Bethlehem road, situated within a medical centre

• Parking is available to the team and easy access to public transport.
• Opposite the road from Bethlehem town centre – an abundance of shops, eateries and amenities are at your fingertips.
• Located just 15 minutes from Tauranga CBD

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant would be ideal, but we are willing to fully train the right person!
• Proven experience in reception or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
• Flexibility to help out the team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive and team-orientated approach to all you do.
• Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
