Luxury Escapes Looking for Product Designer (UX/UI) at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

Our cross-functional teams include Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers focused on delivering solutions and solving problems rather than simply completing tickets.

The structure is flat and the process super-lean, focusing on a culture of MVP, iteration, and “build, measure, learn”, with continuous improvement at the heart of everything we do.

We are now looking for a passionate Product Designer to join our dynamic UX team, working shoulder to shoulder with our Director of Design, UX Designers, UX Researcher, Product Managers and a strong engineering team to deliver a world class online experience!

Please note, this is a fully remote role – you can be based anywhere in NZ!

You will be responsible for:

• Understanding user needs, business goals and translate them into user friendly solutions for both our web and mobile platforms
• Translating ideas into wireframes, visual mock-ups, prototypes that will be tested, validated and iterated upon
• Effectively and clearly communicate design ideas and solutions to stakeholders with the ability to take on feedback and build from it
• Use relevant metrics to inform design decisions and improve results through analytics and A/B testing
• Help to build out the Luxury Escapes design system to ensure consistency across all features and platforms

What we are looking for:

• A portfolio of design work showcasing experience in creating user friendly solutions for web and mobile platforms. Examples of work within the e-commerce space would be a bonus.
• Expertise in designing and prototyping with Figma.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other product designers, product managers, engineers and wider project stakeholders
