Manatt’s Claims Specialist s role is processing and maintaining files and data on claims for the company s workers compensation, auto, general liability, and property insurance from both internal and third party claimants. The Claims Specialist communicates with insurance claims representatives, claimants, witnesses, legal representatives, as well as company management regarding claims, trends, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and process all Workers Compensation, General Liability, Auto and Property Claims.
• Intake, process, adjust, and track internal and external claims, including denials, settlements, tenders, litigation, mediations, and other claim related activity.
• Coordinate/manage handling of workers compensation claims with adjuster(s), supervisors, and injured employee(s).
• Manages claims activities in software tools.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years prior claims experience (Commercial Lines).
• Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred but not required.
• Customer service focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with use of the computer including Microsoft Office tools.
