Our General Manager seeks a leader to join MIT as Head of Languages and Community Education, in this challenging role you will be based at our Otara Campus, East Tamaki.

If you are answering yes, you will relish this opportunity working with academic teams who teach MIT’s certificate students. This is a key role providing academic leadership to ensure student success at all levels. In collaboration with other sector leaders within MIT, you will promote the growth and development of Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Community Programmes.
Ideally you bring experience and a relevant qualification in Language, Literacy or Numeracy, enjoy diversity and can set and monitor budgets utilising your knowledge of tertiary funding. You pride yourself on your leadership skills and emotional intelligence to coach team leaders, and network with industry. Collaboration is your key to success, you will enjoy getting your hands dirty, doing the mahi, enabling and influencing with your positive attitude.
