POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand Marketing Coordinator lends day-to-day support to the Marriott CALA Brand and Marketing team, including administrative support, management of marketing internal communications, brand campaign and program support, collateral development, CALA asset library management, regularly compiling reports and presentations, processing/tracking of invoices and supporting with event/activation organization. This position reports to the Manager of Brand Marketing and Brand Management with a dotted line into the department leader, offering day to day administrative support to the department and to its leader. This role partners closely with the Communications, and Consumer Operations Team in the region. The Coordinator is an integral hub for the entire Brand and Marketing team, liaising with stakeholders in Bethesda and in market. This position is based in Mexico City.

CRITICAL TASKS

Marketing

• Proof translations of brand collateral and process translations as needed
• Manage and maintain CALA asset library
• Support the brand photography process for the region working closely with Field Marketing on the approved photographer list
• Hub for CALA information requests by various stakeholders, such as Consumer Operations, CLS, Hotel teams and global teams
• Support ideation and execution of brand campaigns and activations
• Support with development of presentations and agendas for various brand and marketing meetings
• Track hotel openings and assist with opening marketing support (including logo and name change requests)
• Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly updates for various CALA and global stakeholders (including managing and submitting content for internal newsletters and channels)
• Manage and pull reports from Tableau, as needed
• Manage and update MGS site for CALA Marketing Team
• Manage the Brand, Loyalty and Portfolio Marketing Teams Channel
• Support strategy development; identify and propose marketing opportunities
• Coordinate across digital, marketing, brand and loyalty team meetings, planning, and budgets.

Department Support

• Review and process invoices with Sr Director approval; keep detailed invoice and budget trackers; monitor department travel budget
• Provides Administrative support with expense reports, coordination of meetings and various brand calls
  
• Represent Marketing on various internal calls to update wider team and collect information
• Create presentations for Sr Director and CALA Brand team as needed
  

Computer Skills

• Use computer systems and software packages to input, access, modify, store, or output information (Microsoft Teams, Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must)
• Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard, mouse or trackball.
