Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Security Health Plan (SHP) Building Supervisor supports the Administrative Operations Manager in the daily operations and maintenance related duties of the SHP building. This individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilize good judgment to assess and escalate situations when warranted and utilizes knowledge and skills in the area of building maintenance while keeping Marshfield Clinic Health Systems expected quality standards. The SHP Building Supervisor must act as a leader by building constructive relationships and by supporting leadership in developing and setting and executing goals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred/Optional: Associates degree in business, building construction, equipment maintenance or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Five years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance. Experience with utilization of Microsoft Office or comparable products. Experience with logistics, purchasing, shipping, or distribution.
Preferred/Optional: Five years’ experience performing building maintenance in a healthcare environment, including two years’ experience in a leadership role.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: None
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
