Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The IT Student works under the direction of a Manager or Team Lead to assist with a variety of administrative tasks. This individual may be assigned to various IT business units, such as Inventory, Hardware, and/or Help Desk. The IT Student primary tasks will be based on the area to which the IT student is assigned. This individual may also help with special IT projects.

WORK SHIFT:

M-F; 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm with some weekends

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: High school student or graduate interested in pursuing a career in the Information Technology field.

Preferred/Optional: College student interested in pursuing a career in the Information Technology field.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: Experience with computer repairs. Experience with IT technologies. Experience in customer service.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: State of Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
