Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Looking for Data Entry/ Administrative Assistant (FT) at Calgary, AB Full Time
Matrix is a highly motivated individual to join and support our fast-paced and exciting payroll team as a Data Entry/ Administrative Assistant at our main office in Calgary, AB. We are looking for someone who is organized, can work autonomously, and has good problem-solving skills.
Shift Details:
- Monday- Friday
- 8 AM- 5 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry.
- Verify employee hours worked.
- Ensure all banking information for each employee is correct. – Create supporting documentation.
- Maintain client reports for hours approval.
- Electronically submit all information to the Office Manager so pays can be issued on time.
- Manage payroll errors and correct issues for employees.
- Secondary duties include answering phone calls, organizing, maintaining the cleanliness of the office, and other various small office tasks.
Qualifications:
- High level of Excel proficiency required (Intermediate skill level).
- Previous experience in Data Entry and Administrative Assistant positions.
Requirements:
- Ability to be organized with a strong eye for detail.
- Outstanding accounting and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written in English.
- Strong data processing skills and excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Excel and Stafftrak.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment.
- Possess sound judgment, planning, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent problem identification and resolving skills.
- Ability to collaborate and support managers and team members.
- Adapt quickly and efficiently to new situations, and effectively coordinate under pressure and deadlines.
- Prior Payroll experience is an asset.
