Caregiver – Behavioral Respite ($25/Hour & Weekly Pay)
Behavioral Respite Caregiver work with individuals withdevelopmental delays and/or challenging behaviors. They implement the intensivebehavioral support care plan designed and maintained by a Clinical Supervisorand gather quantifiable behavioral data necessary for the Clinical Supervisorto elevate the effectiveness of the care plan. The Intensive Behavioral SupportProvider assists family members in maintaining the client at home or identifiedcommunity setting. This includes relieving the family members from basicself-help needs and other activities of daily living, including interaction,socialization, and continuation of daily routines which family members wouldordinarily perform. Some additional activities of daily living may include;safety supervision, ambulation assistance, meal prep, feeding, toileting,bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and light house-keeping.
Position: Behavioral RespiteCaregiver
Pay Rate: $25/Hour DOE
Responsibilities :
· Provides personal care andbehavioral assistance/interventions to assigned clients
· Assists clients with grooming,toileting, eating/meal preparation
· Assists with ambulation andtransfer services
· Provides behavioral supportservices
· Provides crisis intervention
· Encourages independence
· Maintains patient safety
· Implements behavioral plans
· Documents care per policies andprocedures
· Participates in rehabilitation andtreatment programs, help with personal hygiene
· Performs other duties asassigned/necessary
