SUMMARY:
The Process Engineer Manager, Plant and Product Optimization is responsible for:

• Provide the manufacturing organization with tactical hands-on support to address specific opportunities with capacity liberation, process control and site optimization
• Lead technical services teams in process best practices, and process metrics
• Leverage technical community work quickly to solve problems at sites
• Work with teams to Implement, monitor and encourage effective use of best practices, thus developing technical capability within the factories and other functions
• Support and drive cost reduction initiatives, supporting AOC planning through Focused Improvement Teams and other interventions
• Support team in new product launch by coaching PD teams on sustainable product run data review and proper plant handover protocols
• Monitor and drive factory performance with plants to improve consistency and product quality

• Increase the knowledge and capability of best operating practice, process control, and in-process metrics within various manufacturing levels
• Coach /mentor other manufacturing and tech service personnel
• Support network optimization; the movement of SKUs through our network, new product developments, and support the interfaces between manufacturing and other supply chain functions
• Roll out continuous improvement, smart tech equipment that was piloted with MFG and R&D community
• Showcase strong leadership and communicate skills through various levels of business and plant organizations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance, R&D, Technical Services / Process control, Data Analytics, Data Integration, Programing or Packaging.
Technical Capabilities

• Strong technical aptitude, mechanical/electrical engineering, and/or plant automation, with the ability to improve process efficiencies
• Knowledge of processing equipment, processing methods, manufacturing philosophies and basic manufacturing SOP’s
• Experience in training and development of operators, supervisors and managers
• Support plants to meet AOC targets driven through optimizing plant assets and practices
• Project Management skills and toolkit to manage deliverables whether remotely meeting or at site
• Maintain understanding of basic process management
• Develop and maintain an understanding of real-time management Understand and be able to implement process control
• Participate in focused improvement teams across regions to deliver immediate impact to cost reduction and support SCA across the network.
• Strong skills in organizing and statistically analyzing data.
• Ability to work independently and within teams on abstract projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience in MDI, Lean, Six-Sigma, Center-lining is ideal

REQUIRED LENGTH & TYPE OF EXPERIENCE
