McCain Foods is seeking a Sales Planning Analyst to join our growing team!
The Sales Planning Analyst will provide analytical support within the Sales Planning team and broader cross-functional teams including Marketing, Insights, and Supply Chain. Responsible for analyzing data from various sources to answer Commercial Sales (Foodservice and Retail) business questions as well as provide performance reporting and tracking. Role to be headquartered centrally at corporate office with opportunity for limited travel in support of teams’ requirements.
Responsibilities:
Synthesize large datasets from various sources (internal shipment data, end user claims, 3rd party syndicated data, Salesforce, etc.) to identify performance opportunities, and to recommend solutions to close gaps
Deliver and present data and findings in a meaningful format to organization/partners in support of business initiatives and projects
Create dashboards and standardized views of business performance
Process monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting for tracking of KPI targets within relevant divisions of the Sales teams and Agency partners
Build knowledge base in managing reporting platforms to ensure data integrity
Stimulate continuous enhancement of analytical framework and sales reporting tools and deliverables
Develop understanding of Salesforce CRM platform and PROS CPQ module as secondary support to Commercial teams and department
Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations/insights in support of Regional and Global exercises and projects
Qualifications:
College degree required
1-4 years relevant work experience in sales, analytics, finance or category management (Foodservice industry or B2B experience a plus)
Strong analytical skills and high intellectual curiosity
High capability to mine and maneuver large datasets from various sources
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint or similar software
Strong customers service and interpersonal skills to collaborate internally/externally
Desire to take ownership of project opportunities, tasks
