We now have an opportunity for a Receptionist/ Office Administrator to join us in our modern Mt Wellington head office.
This key position within McConnell Dowell is the first point of contact for all our visitors and clients and is also the centralised contact for many of our construction project teams around New Zealand and the Pacific.
About the role
Reporting to Executive Assistant/Office Manager your daily responsibilities will include:
- Greeting, transferring, and managing telephone calls
- Facilitate and manage travel requirements/bookings for staff
- Facilitation of staff social events, volunteering, and activities
- Management of meeting room bookings
- Variety of office administration duties including ordering stationery, couriers, and catering
- Active involvement in our Wellbeing Committee.
- Liaise with building maintenance contractors on site
About you:
- Customer focus with a bright and bubbly personality
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- IT savvy, ideally with Workbench or accounting system experience
- Proficient MSOffice skills
- Accurate typing ability (50 wpm plus)
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to multi-task
- The ability to pick up and learn new systems with ease
