The SCCM/MECM admins role is to maintain client images and task sequences, deploy software, patches, and updates using MECM. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and monitor patch releases and develop patch installation strategies for servers and clients. This will also include, performing general administration duties in Active Directory environment and provide a point of escalation and support to the Help Desk and IT teams and work side by side with other system administrators and IT teams. In this role the technician will support user questions, problems, and needs with prompt and courteous attention including MDT integrations with MECM and utilizing to improve imaging processes and patching of devices – SCCM Administration. · Knowledgeable on Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office. · Demonstrate the ability to understand, document and follow procedures. Keen attention to detail and accuracy. · Proficient with MECM patch management, Proficient with Inventory management, operating system deployment. · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. · Scripting languages to automate tasks PowerShell, VBScript, Batch Files). · Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. · Ability to manage assigned tasks and clearly communicate status information. · Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. · Good customer service skills, including end-user support experience. · Good written and oral communication skills. · Associates degree and 3-5 years’ experience is preferred.
