Serves as a direct contact / referral point for patients. Greets patients in person and on the telephone. Performs clerical duties pertaining to the design and follow-up of an efficient patient/provider appointment schedule. Registers patients using the ProCare computer system. Works to provide a friendly, calm and professional environment for sick patients, their family and friends.
Job Qualifications: Must have experience in meeting people and dealing with them under adverse conditions. Must be capable of learning rapidly and accepting change. Must also have the ability to work with ProCare’s computer system, which involves patient data entry and requirements through various computer functions.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
· Experience: One to three years commensurate experience in general office capacity. Medical background is preferred. Excellent telephone skills required.
