A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Manages the development and implementation process of a companys products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of projects key stakeholders.
Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Strong program management experience with demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and manage key internal and external partnerships at multiple geography and multiple million-dollar program levels.
Proven exceptional decision making and communication skills
Demonstrated success in partnering and influencing across a matrix environment.
Proven ability to quickly estimate and identify risk within program planning and execution.
Technical skills adequate to understand risk and scale investments appropriately; capability to understand the design and manufacture of complex polymer products, electronics, and cardiac therapy delivery systems.
Strong technical expertise in healthcare technologies and business acumen experience aligning strategy with functional execution to achieve outcomes.
Strong influencing skills and demonstrated effective change leadership and change management skills.
Previous technical experience with advanced technologies is preferred.
Professional attitude and service orientation; superb team player
The ability to actively develop talent and culture to achieve results.
Position primarily located in the Minneapolis area. Position may also include up to 25% travel (domestic/international) depending on business needs.
