Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to develop category & channel strategy to drive share, sales, profit and loyalty for our portfolio of products including the Portal family of devices. The Channel Strategy Manager is charged with developing the go-to-channel strategy for our retail, telco, direct-to-consumer, and commercial channel. This includes developing an end-to-end route to market approach for each of the categories throughout its lifecycle. This will include leading the development of the pricing, promotional, operational, and sales strategy.

Channel Strategy Manager – Portal Performance Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering on route-to-market strategy for products and services intended for the retail and direct to consumer channel.
Creates category strategies on a quarterly basis & delivers category guidance to executive teams and cross-functional partners.
Develop and align core KPIs, measurements and tactics alignment across cross-functional teams that achieve business objectives.
Leverage sales analytics data to help with improving the efficiency of partner strategies and execution tactics.
Work with our strategic partners and internal cross functional teams to plan the channel program/campaigns including providing guidelines to optimize sales, profit & improve ROI.
Work with our strategic partners Operations and Sales teams to assess inventory allocation and demand planning inputs for seasonality, promotions and channel expansion.
Drives strategic category thought leadership internally and with strategic partners at various levels from individual contributors to executives.
Deliver executive level understanding and awareness of distribution channel dynamics and strategic partner capabilities regarding the category and Meta AR products within it (the best presenter and storyteller in the company regarding channel dynamics for their category.
Travel requirements: 20%.

Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of experience in Category Management, Merchandising, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Finance and Analytics or some relevant combination
Partner facing experience including resellers and large enterprise accounts
Confident communicator, with presentation skills and the experience to present to leadership levels
Experience understanding levers for driving change by channel, share and revenue in the category (e.g., on price, shelf presence, display, feature, promotions, convenience etc.)
Advanced skill with either Google Sheets and Slides or Excel and PowerPoint

Intimate knowledge of the commercial channel including SMB, enterprise, resellers, and key channel partners
Experience with multi-channel business, inclusive of consumer electronics retail, commercial, optical and direct to consumer channels across online and B&M sales motions
Experience with P&L management of $50 million plus annual business(es), with at least 3 years of direct P&L accountability/management experience
Experience adapting and supporting the organization through times of change
An entrepreneurial mindset
Experience precisely and proficiently conducting business and data analyses with data driven recommendations for improvements and advancements
Experience building various levels of strong ongoing customer and organizational relationships
Exceptional problem solving, project and program management skills
Experience understanding, translating and mapping strategic business and competitive priorities into analysis and deliver insights
Deeply values collaboration and experience communicating across varied stakeholders and influence without authority
Experience dealing with ambiguity, navigating through uncertain situations and quickly adapt to change
Experience with hardware, supply chain and multiple channels preferred
