Summary:
Meta is looking for an experienced professional to join the Global Investment Programs team, a part of our Business Planning & Operations organization. Our team’s mission is to design incentive programs and optimize processes and operations to accelerate sustainable growth for Meta’s Partnerships Teams. In this role, you will partner with our Program Management, Business Development, Sales Ops, Legal and Finance teams to design and execute support for all stages of Global Investment Programs deal management. You will also lead initiatives to standardize, optimize and scale other critical operations in a manner that adheres to Meta’s internal controls, enabling the efficient operations of the Business Planning & Operations organization. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the commercial, legal, and operational requirements of designing and executing on incentive programs and business development deals. The candidate will have exceptional communication, cross-functional leadership, and execution skills.

Transition deals, once signed, to cross-functional teams for contract fulfillment and payout.
Examine global investments data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it.
In partnership with cross-functional stakeholders in the Program Management, Business Development, Sales, Sales Ops, Legal, Finance and Accounting teams, design and implement scalable and automated processes for commercial investment programs.
Define business requirements, user stories, system workflows and collaborate with engineering teams to translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Analyze and derive insights from data and translate them into actionable recommendations to influence product roadmap and features.
Partner with internal Tools and Systems and Product and Engineering teams to influence and lead the investment in tools and infrastructure to support these programs.
Map, analyze and optimize the contracting life-cycle for each program, including development of budget frameworks, commercial models, legal templates, payment implementations, and ROI models.
Serve as the point of contact for cross-functional teams to ensure deal requirements, commercial structures, and potential risks are properly documented, escalated and resolved before proceeding to contract signature.
Own all logistics, coordination, and facilitation for regular team meetings, documenting and presenting summaries of internal project work to Partnerships leadership.
Demonstrate judgment to balance between the aggressive growth objectives of our Product and Partnerships teams, and the operational requirements of our Legal and Finance partners.
Predict roadblocks and obstacles and prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions, while proactively raising issues for the team before they become a problem.
Develop and track project plans, metrics of success, and communication plans for all initiatives.
Ensure approvals required for non-standard deals have been properly documented, raised to the right approval levels, and resolved within reasonable timeframes.

Experience using data (e.g., SQL, reports, dashboards) to create compelling stories that communicate key messages across the organization and to influence various levels of management.
Analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as the experience adapting quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
Experience defining and developing workflows, identifying and implementing operational processes to streamline the partnership structuring process.
Business Development expertise, with demonstrated experience understanding and communicating legal, commercial, regulatory, and operational risk across any business function and type.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal/Paralegal Studies or equivalent practical experience.
Effective communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated experience gaining trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
3+ years of experience in a commercial contracts environment at a technology company or in a legal environment focusing on technology customers/contracts.
Experience working in a fast-moving, often uncertain environment and to adapt to new teams, roles and responsibilities in an ongoing fashion.
Problem solving and analysis experience including solving complex business challenges (commercial, operational, financial).
Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, CPQ solutions, and other technology-oriented sales productivity platforms.
Familiarity with commercial agreements and extrapolating key terms.

Experience leading discussions with key stakeholders to explore, evaluate, and develop best practices for ensuring service delivery and continual improvement relating to product and service related contracts.
