Summary:

The Sourcing Manager will support Data Center Infrastructure Facilities Sourcing activities and will help Facebook to scale by evaluating existing services and identifying new sources.

Required Skills:

Strategic Sourcing Manager – Data Center Infrastructure Facility Operations Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate effectively with other team members and internal teams to help advance and support Data Center Infrastructure and Facilities Operations initiatives.

2. Support on-going supplier management activities including the preparation of supplier strategies, i.e. category strategy plans, QBRs, scorecards, etc.

3. Support sourcing projects, including managing competitive bids, RFx, examining proposals, analyzing bids, etc.

4. Analyze spend and other data, manage benchmarking and reporting, including presenting them in both quantitative and qualitative formats.

5. Prepare, negotiate and manage Master Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, and Statements of Work.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contracting.

2. Experience interacting with employees at all levels, develop cooperative working partnerships and contribute to teams.

3. Demonstrate judgment and discretion experience when dealing with highly sensitive people and data.

4. Experience understanding multiple, complex streams of information and experience presenting it in simple, clear and concise terms.

5. Experience balancing legal/contractual issues with business risk.

6. Adept in working with mass data, MS Office, G-suite, various databases, contract management systems.

7. Interpersonal skills.

8. Highly motivated, resourceful and experience thinking clearly under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelors’ degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management.

2. 10+ years of experience of negotiation experience and substantive contract drafting and negotiations.

3. Proficiency with Oracle Sourcing and procurement tools.

4. Infrastructure Data Center experience, OEM-ODM management experience, Facilities experience.

5. Category Management of Facility Operations related Spares parts and consumables (MOQ management) from a supplier sourcing management experience, strongly preferred.
