Method Media is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer focusing on html layouts to conceive and build interactive experiences. This role takes on a collaborative approach where you will work in tandem with senior developers and UI/UX designers to ensure all elements of web creation are seamless.

You must be keen to take on development tasks from initial creative prototypes and technical proof-of-concepts to production code on projects. We are excited to welcome new talents to our team so come and share your work with us.

Responsibilities

• Excellent analysis of structure and design of web pages
• Creating/Ensuring a user experience that best fits design layouts
• Developing features to enhance web user experience
• Ensuring web design is optimized for mobile devices
• Building reusable code for future use
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of development experience
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Able to create web layouts without using Bootstrap or other CSS layout libraries
• Good knowledge in SCSS (CSS Preprocessor)
• Basic knowledge of Bitbucket
• Knowledge in mobile first implementation
• Bonus: BarbaJS, GSAP, WebGL, Canvas, Google Maps API, Pixi.js, and SEO
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design
• Well-versed with Adobe XD and Photoshop
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
