About the role
Our much-loved Edgewater village is undergoing a large transformation and we are excited to announce our brand-new Care Home which will be opening around March 2022! Due to this, we’re looking for 2 Cleaners to work on a 4 day on 4 day off basis being maintaining the cleanliness in our new, modern Care Home!
Some of the great things you will be doing:

• Cleaning common areas
• Cleaning individual units to a high standard for our residents
• Working and interacting with residents and other staff
• Maintaining health and safety standards

About you
We are looking Cleaners with great attitudes! We can teach you and develop you towards a career in the right direction whether in the Care Home, Villages or with the Support Office. This is where you can get you foot in the door. Some things that will support your application include:

• Previous cleaning/laundry experience would be beneficial, particularly in a commercial environment
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn will give you a great base
• You will be able to work unsupervised as well as being a supportive member of the team.
• You will appreciate that you must have empathy for the older person, as well as excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear and considerate fashion.
