The Commercial Software Engineering (CSE) team is a global engineering organization that works directly with customers looking to leverage the latest technologies to address their toughest challenges. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience and expertise designing and delivering solutions using modern software engineering practices and cloud technologies. You and your team will be working side-by-side with our customers’ engineers to build innovative solutions. Responsibilities

• Working hands-on with your team and our customers to build cloud-based solutions, from design through implementation, setting examples for good engineering practices and delivering high quality code along the way.

• Being a great teammate to actively help other engineers become stronger problem solvers, engineers, communicators, and collaborators.

• Modeling our core values and being a mentor and coach to other engineers on our team.

• Continuously improving our ability to deliver quality solutions by evolving our engineering process and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant software industry experience

• 2+ years of Cloud experience building and shipping large-scale distributed services and APIs, such as Azure or AWS platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• A good working knowledge of agile software development methodologies and tools that enable these, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or others

• Experience working with customers and across company boundaries

• Experience in Media & Entertainment or Communications industries

• Proficiency in one or more of these languages: C#, Python, Java, Go, JavaScript

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or the equivalent

• Enjoy potential future travel and are comfortable with regional travel up to 25%
