In this role, you create, manage, and optimize content portfolios that help customers adopt and use these industry-standard data products and services!

Responsibilities

What you will do:

In this role, you’ll work with product teams, customers, engineers, support, and marketing to create compelling documentation for Azure SQL and SQL Server on Microsoft Docs. You will:

• Plan: Develop, prioritize, and execute customer-focused, data-informed content plans.

• Test: You will be hands on with the technologies in our portfolio—installing, configuring, and building.

• Create: Author and publish high-impact content addressing customer needs in Microsoft Docs and Learn.

• Collaborate: Work with engineering, support, marketing, and customers to understand customer goals and what they need to succeed.

• Analyze: Use data to report on your impact, prioritize your work, and adjust to future plans.

• Iterate : Refine content based on customer feedback, testing, analytics, and the evolving technology portfolio.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience writing and content design for a technical audience.

• OR equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, or equivalent database technologies.

• OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading projects with stakeholders to gather requirements, plan, and drive them to completion.

• Experience accessing data through code (Scripting, Python, C#, or other languages).

• Familiarity with modern data tools, such as Azure Data Studio, SSMS, and VS Code.

• Experience working in GitHub and markdown.

• Experience with Azure DevOps Boards.

• Experience working in an agile development environment.
