Job Description
MindPoint Group is seeking a highly motivated Mobile Security Developer with comprehensive knowledge of developing and implementing security measures for mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing and integrating security features to protect sensitive data, prevent unauthorized access, and mitigate security risks on mobile devices. Must be a self-starter and able to independently track and manage tasks and projects to resolution. Must also have strong communication skills with proven experience working in cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives and meet critical deadlines within fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environments.

Design and develop the security architecture for mobile applications by determining the appropriate security controls, encryption methods, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication protocols to be implemented
Write secure code to develop and also to reverse engineer mobile applications with built-in security features including implementing input validation, secure storage of sensitive data, secure communication channels, and protection against common vulnerabilities such as injection attacks, cross-site scripting (XSS) and buffer overflows
Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security weaknesses in mobile applications and platforms using various tools and techniques to simulate real-world attacks and uncover vulnerabilities that could be exploited
Stay updated with the latest security standards, frameworks, and best practices in the mobile security field ensuring compliance with industry regulations and guidelines, such as the OWASP Mobile Security Project
Respond to security incidents and breaches by investigating security incidents, analyzing the root cause, and implementing remediation measures to prevent future occurrences
Promote security awareness among developers and stakeholders involved in mobile application development by providing training sessions, creating documentation, and establishing guidelines to educate teams on secure coding practices, secure deployment, and mobile security best practices
Perform a review and analysis of technical issues, baselines, and controls and develop appropriate documentation to reflect requirements in the mobility area
Develop mobile-specific requirements and use cases and secure configuration baselines for selected mobile operating systems
Brief on the mobile operating system secure configuration baselines
Document mobile-specific requirements and use cases
Develop and document mobile device controls to support a BYOD implementation
Develop mobility application requirements and evaluations of third-party applications
Develop high-level business requirements and business cases for potential custom applications
Develop end-user training including job aide and frequently asked questions for mobile applications
Develop mobile architecture security requirements and evaluations of suggested architecture changes
Develop reviews and assessments of new mobile technologies
Develop security authorization packages of new mobile and wireless systems.
Qualifications

What skills are required?
Bachelor-s Degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for 8 additional years of relevant experience.
Ten (10) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience
CISSP and CEH certifications required
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in network and endpoint security architecture
Candidate must have an in-depth technical understanding of and hands-on experience working with and managing mobile technologies and architectures.
Candidate should have an understanding of the market for mobile technologies and the direction it is heading.
Candidate should have experience with MS Office Applications.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $140-170k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
