The Ministry for the Environment – Manatū Mō Te Taiao is responsible for leading the Government’s work in this challenging area, which has major implications for our environment, economy and how we live our lives.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
You will work collaboratively alongside your senior colleagues to contribute to and advance impactful outcomes across our high-profile plastics policy work programme and support policy work on other waste streams.
Core focus areas of the role will be to undertake research and policy analysis, work with stakeholders, support policy implementation, and provide advice to senior leadership and Ministers. This work contributes more widely to improving our national approach to waste.

Whānuitanga Utu ā-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is $77,280 up to $93,565 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
