About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to provide executive support to the Head of the Office of the Deputy Secretary and the Director Partnerships and Capability, in the Building, Resources and Markets branch at MBIE.
Working in a dynamic and changing environment, you will be responsible for diary and event management, recruitment support, monitoring communication, preparing documents, arranging travel and other administrative duties all while working collaboratively with a wider support team. This is a really important role, your ability to think on your feet, be proactive and add value to the work of the Office of the Deputy Secretary will be critical.
A strong focus on continuous improvement is important as well as the ability to build a strong understanding of the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Partnerships and Capability work, the BRM group and MBIE. You will maintain effective internal and external relationships, deal with high level, urgent and confidential issues and work effectively with the teams as needed.
