We are looking for an intern who can join us between Dec 2022 to Feb 2023. Please indicate your period of availability in your resume.
Data has become increasingly important in informing various strategic functions that the Government undertakes.
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Data Office team and be involved in understanding the demand, supply and skillsets of current and emerging tech jobs:
– Conduct web research to understand latest trends on tech jobs and its accompanying skillsets
– Merge, clean and wrangle data obtained
– Translate data into pertinent insights using BI tools
– Share and present findings to relevant parties such as policy divisions in MCI
– Undergraduates or Polytechnic students/ graduates with Data Science/Business analytics background
– Ability to resourcefully mine and obtain data from open source platforms
– Knowledge of data analytical tools such as Python, R
– Knowledge of data visualisation software such as PowerBI
– Self-starter with demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative
