Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
The Project Coordinator | Kairuruku provides end to end support to the Design group’s work programme to achieve the group’s goals. They will work within and across the teams within the Design Group to monitor progress and delivery, provide advice on the alignment of key work programmes, manage Enterprise system tools, and provide ‘hands on’ project support.

Salary range: $71,858 – $86,939 per annum + 3% kiwi saver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

We’re looking for someone who:
You may have project or programme management experience/qualifications, or be willing to work towards those.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whanau. To better deliver on this, we are currently undergoing an organisational design change. The transition phase to improve the way we deliver our purpose will be complete in 2023.

Our team supports the Design group within Te Pae Aronui to deliver on complex programmes and projects within the Design phase of delivery. The Design Group leads the design of services, supports and operational policies that support, enable and create the best educational outcomes for ākonga and whānau. It brings together, service design, leading the development of principles, frameworks and practice that can be used in a repeatable and systematic way across initiatives and programmes, putting people at the heart of what we do.
