Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Hiring For Manager, Procurement, Corporate Planning and Management Department (Contract) at Singapore Full Time

What you will be working on

• Guide department users in Procurement with end-to-end solutions based on established guidelines and procedures.
• Develop, revise and improve on work processes to improve overall efficiency of Procurement functions.
• Ensure that the departments under her/his charge administer all procurement processes and procedures in accordance to the Instruction Manual on Procurement.
• Work closely as a strategic business partner with project teams to prepare the necessary documents, provide guidance for the evaluation process and partner contract owners to monitor awarded vendor and contract performance.
• Partner departments for holistic solutioning, including adopting and adapting to new technologies such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, etc.
• Equip with effective stakeholder engagement, data-mining and strategic thinking skills, in addition to Procurement proficiency.
• Assist with

Small Value Purchase and Period Contract transactions.

• Assist with projects and tasks on an ad-hoc basis.

• Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Possess tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Business Management preferred.
• Possess a depth of knowledge and relevant experience in handling complex procurement matters.
• A good knowledge of IM on Procurement and GeBIZ would be advantage.
• Able to handle end users professionally, work independently and be efficient with a strong customer service mindset.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
• Possess an inquisitive mind, meticulous in details and a good team player.
• Good written, communication, presentation and IT skills are essential.
