Mitre 10 Ponsonby – it’s your local store. Located on Richmond Road, Grey Lynn we’re a proudly New Zealand owned and operated business.

With a wide range of products, we’re after someone who loves engaging with our customers to help them solve their problems and meet their needs. We have a clear vision to provide the best home improvement shopping experience in the Central Auckland area.

As a smaller store – at least on Mitre 10 standards – you will work across the store, which gives lots of variety.

We’re looking for people with a wide range of knowledge, so if you have a green thumb and enjoy helping customers find the perfect plants, gardening tools, and landscaping solutions or if you’re someone who loves working with tools, providing advice on home improvement projects, and assisting customers in finding the right hardware, we have a role for YOU!

For this role we are looking for people who have:

• Willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of physical fitness

Previous retail experience across any area of our store will be viewed favourably.
