WEEKEND DELIVERY DRIVER(S) FIXED TERM

Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is a locally owned and operated company with a vision to provide outstanding customer service and great value products to our customers. Our store is a popular destination for our customers during spring & summer, and we are looking for some additional people to do customer deliveries on Saturday’s and Sunday’s and help out at our Offsite Distribution Centre.

The role is a fixed term position working 12 hours per week from September 2021 to until early February 2022. The roster pattern for this role is Saturday and Sunday working 9.30am to 4pm.

We are also prepared to job share this role between two people working either:

Weekend on/weekend off (12 hours per fortnight)

Saturday or Sunday only each week (6 hours per week)

As well as doing customer deliveries at the weekend for local customers, this role will be responsible to work with others in the team moving and storing goods in our Distribution Centre and picking customer orders for delivery or pick-up.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

• Enthusiasm and team spirit;
• A passion for customer service excellence;
• Willingness to learn; and
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit as there will be a lot of lifting, manual handling, ladder use and walking/standing
• A full clean NZ drivers’ licence is required to drive company delivery vehicles
