As BAU, you will focus on relationship management, collaboration and planning. Under the response component, you will operate in a high stress environment implementing previously rehearsed procedures and rapidly responding to the unfolding needs of an emergency.
You will drive the Public Information and Awareness Strategy. This strategy will deliver an annual programme of communications and marketing activity to increase awareness of what needs be done to plan and prepare for an emergency, and what to do when disaster strikes.
The Principal Advisor will also support the department’s leadership team by
advising on reputational and media issues and risks; collaborate with the
communications and marketing department and provide high quality
communications on the role.
