Morgan Conservation District Hiring for Conservation Outreach Coordinator at Fort Morgan, CO Full Time

This is a Part-Time, Work-from-Home, 1099 position, with some weekend and weeknight hours. The Coordinator is responsible for setting their own work schedule and completing all required tasks. The Coordinator is responsible for their own taxes including any federal, state, or local taxes.

This is an entry level position performing outreach activities and duties on behalf of the District. The Coordinator will work closely with the District Manager and Board of Supervisors to plan, manage, coordinate, and oversee educational outreach activities. Examples include:

• Overseeing and managing the Annual Conservation Tree Seedling Sale
• Scheduling, coordinating, and hosting eductional workshops or events
• Marketing and advertising on behalf of the District
• Organizing and scheduling the Annual Meeting
• Scheduling meetings with local agencies or persons to carry out the District’s mission and long-term planning
• Coordinating with other Conservation District’s or agencies to co-host meetings and events
• Attending meetings and events on behalf of the District

The Coordinator is expected to work with other local, regional, and state agencies to promote and carry out the District’s mission.
