Introduction to the team
Reporting to the Director of IT Strategic Services this position will manage and oversee a shared services team that is responsible for scaling our data warehousing, business intelligence, and the utilization of tools to produce visualizations and analytics that create greater insight for our business. Additionally, this position will play a leading role managing the utilization of data to identify or build new technologies of strategic importance to the firm.

Responsibilities :
Oversee the planning, building and maintenance of a data and reporting infrastructure amenable for machine learning experimentation in support of the advanced analytics work of Strategic Services
Manage the documentation/maintenance of the firm’s data architecture in collaboration with the Application Architecture Manager and various department data owners
Manage and oversee a team of developers/analysts/designers in the design and development of analytics projects to develop and automate reports that support analysis of key performance metrics
Build road maps for the deployment and maintenance of advanced data technologies appropriate for the size and budget of Moss Adams
Assist the Director of IT Strategic Services in driving the planning and execution of an overall analytics and business intelligence strategy that contributes to the growth of our business
Collaborate with business units (e.g., finance, marketing) through data governance to establish and maintain common data definitions and drive the promulgation of these to the business
Drive the adoption of data visualization and analytics tools in the business with a view to providing the business with actionable information (e.g., reports, dashboards, alerts, etc.)
Collaborate with the firm’s Application Architect in projects to ensure new or modified data sources are appropriately integrated with the firm’s data architecture
Set priorities, objectives, and strategies for the team to scale and support current and anticipated business needs
Communicate with senior management to promote the One Firm view of data and ensure the adherence to best practices to build an integrated non-siloed data infrastructure
Lead and manage a high-performing team by coaching and developing individuals to deliver superior client service
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Computer Science or other related field preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience with data management, reporting and business intelligence function or related experience in a complex organization preferred; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in a professional services environment preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
Excellent knowledge of database structures, data management processes, Data Warehouses, Marts, Lakes, Data Analytics and the associated toolsets and technologies used for building and maintaining these environments
Ability to work with business units and lead the process of translating complicated data into usable information to answer business questions
Exceptional business acumen; equally capable of seeing “Big Picture” as well as managing the details
Ability to translate the strategic data needs of the business into clear and executable goals
Ability to collaborate and work effectively across teams while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others
Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize while simultaneously managing and executing on numerous project/processes often under tight deadlines
Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service, and foster a high degree of end user satisfaction through the delivery of quality and timely service
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10%

This is the typical range of pay for the position; however, actual pay may vary based on experience, skillset, and location. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
