Job Responsibilities:

• Timely support the regional divisions and overseas branches on queries related to Global Credit Application & Rating System (G-CARS) and provide education on G-CARS through training or newsletters.                            
• Suggest necessary enhancement to G-CARS and participate in the G-CARS enhancement project and G-CARS related project.  
• Participate and present topics related to G-CARS (e.g. G-CARS enhancement, G-CARS Newsletter, etc.) in the Credit Policy Management Team (CPMT) meeting on a periodical basis.                                                       
• Support the overseas branches in matters related to Asian General Credit Policies (AGCP), Underwriting Guidelines (UG) and Head Office’s credit rules and policies as well as credit risk control processes.                
• Compile AGCP and UG exceptions and report them to the CRO for Asia and CCrO for Asia on a periodical basis.    
• Prepare materials on matters related to AGCP, UG, AGCP and UG exceptions, and HO’s Credit Committee for presentation in the Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC) for APAC region.                                   
• Review overseas branches’ credit policies and manuals to ensure the alignment with HO’s credit rules and policies and AGCP.       
• Conduct credit review (prepare credit review sheet, check the compliance of credit transactions with AGCP and UG and mitigating reasons if there is any AGCP or UG exception) and coordinate the entire credit review process. 
• Support team leader in team and departmental initiatives to drive the enhancement of credit risk management in APAC region    

Job Requirements:

• Good conceptual understanding of credit risk management, credit policies and processes, and credit rating and application system.
• Good knowledge of the banking industry’s products and services and its regulations. 
• Basic knowledge of credit analysis. Some experience in credit analyst role is a plus. 
• Good communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese language.     
•  Bachelor Degree.
•  Desirable to have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience.
