We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter for our well-established branch in Auckland, New Zealand.

This role will be working closely with a strong and experienced team of spare parts professionals in delivering quality parts and excellent service to our customers, both over the phone and in person.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Timely response and efficient management of customer enquiries from the counter, phone, and internet
• Effectively interpreting the customer’s needs through application of product knowledge
• Assisting other team members in daily transactions
• Assisting in delivery and maintenance of the warehouse as required

The candidate

To be successful in this role, experience in Automotive or HV spare parts sales is essential (Commercial truck preferred). More importantly, you must also be self-motivated, resourceful, have effective problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.

In addition to being a strong team player, you will have/be:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Spare-parts sales – preferably sales or service of HV parts
• Have established good business relationships within the industry, including customers or resellers.
• Experience in electronic cataloguing systems
• Good understanding and practical skills in customer service or customer relations.
• Effective communicator and active listener
• Proven ability in completing multiple tasks and able to function well under pressure
• Effective research skills / Intermediate IT skill
