Job Description

We are seeking a front-end web developer to build new web pages and improve our company website. The right person for this role will be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript. You will be responsible for building and deploying front-end features to our website, and various web applications and performing routine maintenance of our site.

Responsibilities

Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using web development best practicesCreate basic website layouts and user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScriptIntegrate data from various back-end web services and databasesWork with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needsCollaborate with designers to realize visual design intentCreate and maintain software documentationEnsure cross-browser compatibility of new featuresBe responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our siteFamiliar with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activitiesDesigning and developing an ADA compliant UIAdhere to security protocols for web sites and web apps

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, software development, or related fieldWeb development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptFront-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, and AngularContent management systems (CMSs) such as WordPress and JoomlaUI/UX design experienceWorking knowledge of graphic designREST API developmentAgile and test-driven development best practices

Nice To Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying web apps to web serversComfortable with version control tools, ideally git + GitHub/GitLabComfortable with continuous integration tools (like Jenkins or GitLab)
