South Coast Field Operations Technician
The Nature Trust of British Columbia is a leading non-profit land conservation organization dedicated to protecting critical habitat for wildlife, fish, and plants in BC. Since 1971, we have secured 180,000 acres of ecologically significant land.
The Nature Trust of British Columbia is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Operations Technician for the South Coast Region. This is a full-time permanent position based in Vancouver, B.C. The South Coast Field Operations Technician will report directly to the Interior & Coastal Mainland Conservation Land Manager.
The South Coast Field Operations Technician will provide technical assistance and supervision for a variety of habitat restoration projects and site maintenance activities on conservation holdings in the South Coast Region and some limited activities in other regions of the province.
For this unique position, we are looking for a suitable candidate with a broad skillset and willingness to take on roles ranging from habitat restoration, public engagement, infrastructure maintenance, property inspection, to working alongside our partners, stakeholders and volunteer groups. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with some of the leading conservation organizations in British Columbia as well as the provincial and federal governments.

Job Location: The position will be based in Vancouver, but daily activities will take place throughout the South Coast region.

NTBC is proud to offer generous vacation allowances, a robust health and dental plan, and an RRSP matching program. The salary range for this role is $55,000-$60,000, based on a 37.5 hour week; this role is eligible for overtime.
