Job Description

• Receive and redirect calls, e-mails, or visitors
• Respond to general client enquiries and prepare and co-ordinate client packages
• Coordinating office activities and scheduling appointments and meetings
• Assist with project management and organizing project documents and files
• Receive, sort and file documents from clients
• Following up on outstanding invoices and other receivable duties
• Assisting with Canada Revenue Agency’s request for client information and registering clients for various accounts with the Canada Revenue Agency
• Provide coverage for other support staff during vacations, illness and other absenteeism
• Other administrative duties as required; including scanning and mailing/courier

Skills and Experience

• Minimum one year experience working in a similar role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, and Excel
• Be able to work in the office full-time, Monday to Friday during regular business hours. We do have some flexibility on start and finish times to accommodate
• Be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to listen, simplify, and disseminate information across audiences
• Strong initiative, work ethic and a positive attitude
• Resourceful and flexible
• Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality
• Experience with Taxprep, Caseware and iFirm software, while not required, would be preferred
