Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Join the integrated maternity and early years team as an Administrator and contribute to the mahi of improving and protecting population health across all communities in particular whānau, pēpi and tamariki. The team supports the development of the integrated maternity and early years and works alongside other agencies and partners to address the impact of wider determinants of health, supporting whānau, with a focus on tamariki and rangatahi within their communities, to get well, stay well, live well at the population level.
As Administrator you will provide advice to support, maintain and improve the delivery of a high-quality work programmes for the integrated maternity and early years team. This role is pivotal for maintaining and improving processes and procedures to a consistently high standard to enable the team to achieve important operational capability. The Administrator will actively collaborate and engage with colleagues, both internally and externally, to ensure a high level of coordination for the team is maintained and delivered. As the team is based around the motu, ideally you will be used to coordinating with colleagues who are working remotely and have an ability to bring people together.
It is preferred that the person doing this role is based in Wellington, but we will consider applicants from around the motu.

You are a naturally organised person and a skilled administrator. You’re well used to needing to quickly process information, make sound decisions, and respond to tight deadlines. Past roles have seen you support busy teams and plan well in order to deliver on expectations. Motivated and always able to use your initiative to solve issues, you can coordinate people and work effectively.
