An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our hard working, fun team on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours a week) based at our New Lynn campus. You will need to be an expert and guru for everything digital. The role is critical in supporting paid and organic digital advertising, digital campaigns, and recruitment activities.  The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing the digital strategy as planned and aligned with overall marketing and recruitment objectives.

About the role 

• As Digital Marketing Specialist, you need to be tertiary qualified and an expert in all things digital marketing with special focus on the following areas:
• Experienced users of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and knowledge in using Indesign, and familiar with video editing and reeling
• Paid Ads management – Google Ads and analytics 4, Social Media marketing including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
• Organic Search Engine Marketing and Content management
• Lead-generation strategy, planning and reporting
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to understand a wide range of online interactions from our target market 
• Email Marketing – Mailchimp or similar tools
• English skills, copywriting, and editing (researching keywords, writing copy for ads, website landing pages and press releases.
• The ability to speak another language and knowledge of the education industry in NZ would be a real advantage

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support our overall lead-generation and marketing strategy with new ideas and methods – constantly improving and finding new ways to grow our brand visibility and generate leads for sales
• Create and manage all paid advertising channels such as Google Ads/Facebook/LinkedIn, conversion tracking, remarketing, reporting, tags and analytics
• Present regular enhancements and suggestions for SEO / SEM improvements and execute on them;
• Complete monthly high-level data reports on set digital marketing reporting lines.
• Operate all digital marketing channels to increase brand awareness and visibility
• You will report to the Marketing Manager and work collaboratively with the rest of the team in supporting with product development and improvement, content creation strategy, weekly campaigns, project-based landing pages, dedicated ads for special projects, etc.
