NextGen.Net is an Australian company, which has established itself as the market leader of Internet-based (SaaS) software solutions for the mortgage lending industry. Our system, ApplyOnline is the premier electronic lodgement platform in Australia. Our customers are primarily banks, mortgage broker groups and other partners in the mortgage industry, with offices located in North Sydney and Newcastle.

We are looking for talented individuals to join our Software Build & Release Teams. We are open to both:

• Entry level graduates or
• Experienced candidates with previous experience working in Software application build, packaging and/or deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Build and release code changes to our online financial applications in real time.
• Deploy releases to our target environments within scheduled SLA’s.
• Manage build configurations to meet evolving software requirements.
• Establish new customer environments and new product deployments.
• Work effectively with key internal teams including our deployment and service delivery teams.
• Introduce and suggest risk management methodologies into our change control processes.
• Diagnose and resolves faults.

What You’ll Need

• Previous scripting & troubleshooting experience (Commercial or at University)
• Flexible working hours (we occasionally have early morning/evening deployments + weekends)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

• Undergraduate qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Prior experience with web development including HTML, XML and/or Javascript.
• Previous experience working in Software Build & Release.
• Experience developing and/or deploying software using build engineering/CI tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven and/or SVN.
