Nieuwland Feed and Supply Hiring for Customer Service/Administrative Assistant Job at Drayton Valley Full Time

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm

• Accurately and efficiently process daily feed orders from sales team and customers via phone and email
• Provide professional, courteous and timely responses to all incoming inquires
• Provide pricing quotes based on daily price list and confirm with management
• Ensure all orders have required information for processing (i.e., phone number, fire number, bin number)
• Contact customers whenever there is a change in delivery schedules
• Include expiry dates with vet scripts for renewal purposes
• Order entry (commodities, poultry schedules, vet scripts etc.)
• Invoicing of feed orders
• Report Generating
• Match and monitor statements and work orders
• Carry outs (up to 50 lbs.)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service/administrative role
• Project a positive attitude to customers, employees and suppliers at all times
• Effective team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills
• An understanding of agriculture/feed industry would be an asset, but is not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for carry outs
