Local long-standing truck line North Park Transportation Co in Belgrade, MT has an immediate Part Time Administrative Assistant/Data Entry opening. This is an in-office position reporting to the Office Manager located in the corporate office in Denver, CO.

Pay Range: $17-$20/hr, depending on experience.

Shift: Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Administrative Assistant/Data Entry position is responsible for providing administrative and operations support for the Terminal Manager and the Corporate Office.
• Timely and accurate data entry.
• Perform general customer service such as tracking status of shipments, assisting clients with correctly completing the Bill of Lading, answering Terminal questions and processing incoming pickups.
• Review freight received or shipped by checking it against the bill of lading and recording any discrepancies.
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
• Responsible for performing a large amount of data entry, related to invoicing.
• This role has responsibility for resolving routine issues and works closely with the Denver collections team, responding to inquiries and emails and handling dispute resolution.
• Prepare and maintain daily paperwork to move freight.
• Answer phones and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assist walk-in clients as needed.
• Maintain a variety of daily, weekly and monthly reports and tasks.
• Maintain appropriate records, files and documentation.
• Assists with general office duties such as mailing, filing, scanning and copying.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong typing and 10-key skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED:

• Previous Administrative Assistant experience.
• Experience with the AS400 operating system.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations.
• Experience in the transportation industry.
