North River Collaborative Hiring for Business Office Assistant- 20-35 hours per week-flexible hours at Rockland, MA Full Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associates Degree preferred.

2. Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable practices.

3. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months temporary position with the possibility of continuation.

REPORTS TO: Director of Business Services

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in Maintenance of General Ledger. Recording of all data into General Journal, Cash Receipts Journal, Accounts Payable Journal and Accounts Receivable Journal while maintaining audit trail.

2. Process monthly budget expenditure reports and line-item reports for

coordinators.

3. Maintain spreadsheet reports using Excel.

4. Act as back-up in emergency to Accounts Payable administrative staff.

5. Assist in the preparation of all checks and warrants

6. Assist in the maintenance of Accounts Payable files and vendor information

7. Assist in the processing of mileage reimbursement travel vouchers

8. Assist in processing purchase orders

9. Act as a backup to the Payroll Administrator when necessary

10. Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Business Services or the Executive Director

Job Types: Temporary, Part-time

Pay: $24.14 – $31.41 per hour

Experience:

• Accounts payable: 3 years (Preferred)
