Northpower Looking for Graduate Accountant at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Reporting to the Commercial Manager- Corporate Contracting, you will be responsible for providing accounting and finance support to National Management and wider Contracting team.  

Based in Auckland, you will perform:

• A range of duties including completion of month-end processes and reporting, reconciling leases and balance sheets, reviewing fixed-assets, assisting with forecasting and budgeting, managing fleet costs, WIP management and supporting with projects as required.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, partnering with commercial managers, delivery managers, and wider leadership team within the contracting business, ensuring the required commercial and financial outcomes of Contracting are well supported.

A bout you

We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:

• Completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree or working towards gaining a CA qualification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative working relationships with diverse people
• Attention to detail, robust numerical and analytical skills and not to mention an aptitude to foresee challenges
• Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS excel, experience with JDE, Power BI or other equivalent ERP system is highly advantageous
• Prior experience in a financial or contracting role is a bonus
