Northrop Grumman is seeking Multimedia Designers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Aurora, Colorado.
The qualified candidate will become part of the Colorado Creative Media (CCM) team that provides support for numerus business proposals; to include technical writing support as well as modifying and/or creating graphics to clearly depict technical concepts. Additionally, the Multimedia designer provides audio/visual support during a variety of events. The Multimedia Designer also supports employee communications both digital and analog, using multimedia applications.

Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2023.
Be majoring in or having majored in Design Art
Understand standard Audio / Visual components and basic controls
Demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft 365 Suite, SharePoint, PDF Document control, converting docs to PNG images
Knowledge in the developing media & communication campaigns
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
Experience drafting technical documents and creating professional graphics
Experience developing productive relationships with all levels of corporations
Experience in supporting audio / visual needs for small to mid-size events
Secret/Top Secret Clearance
At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
Intern Pay Range:
Bachelors: $19.50 – $25.75
Masters: $31.00 – $33.00
