Northrop Grumman Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Technician Team Supervisor to provide support to our Bacchus Engineering Test group.
Role Description:
The Technician Team Supervisor manages less senior technicians in the Bacchus testing department.
Job Responsibilities:
The potential candidate will support a variety of activities including:
• Help prepare cost and budget estimates, manage to the established budgets, and time card approval
• Ensure technicians are trained to perform the work expected of them and provide mentoring / training for less experienced technicians
• Develop a staffing plan to ensure staffing is representative of scope and budget and develop requisitions, interview, and select the best candidates
• Develop work plans with assignments to ensure work is accomplished to schedule and workloads are balanced
• Take on responsibilities for special projects as assigned by the Manager and plan scope, budget and schedule with little or no direction
• Assist process engineering in writing procedures for new development processes
• Manage the work center by ensuring supplies and tools are available when needed and the facilities are clean and safe
• Ensure annual objectives are specified in support of department and company objectives
• Perform regular performance assessments (mid-year and end of year minimum)
• Provide continuous feedback on performance (reward, coach and discipline)
• Perform Manager work as assigned
Education/Certifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required (education will be verified)
Experience Requirements:
• 6 years of experience in manufacturing (working in a testing environment preferred)
• 3 years experience in a leadership role.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to lead a project (plan scope, budget, and schedule)
• Demonstrated ability to coach less senior technicians
• Demonstrated capability to lead other engineering technicians
• Able to obtain Employee Possessor designation from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
• Able to obtain a Secret level government clearance

Salary Range: $66,500.00 – $110,800.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
